There were allegations of irregularities in the work of the contractor of Suez Treatment Plant (STP) located in Makkariya area of Patan city. After which an inquiry committee consisting of Patan Municipality deputy commissioner Dharmesh Prajapati and two members Mukesh Patel and Jayesh Patel investigated the matter and submitted its report. In which some irregularities of this contractor were found.
Sludge is not removed from STP
In this report water is not purified in STP, water testing is not done daily in the laboratory here, sludge is not removed from STP. Plant is not properly maintained. Also, it was revealed that the work was not done properly as there was no qualified staff.
Notice to deduct 30% of the amount due
In this regard, the Vice President Dharmesh Prajapati said that the maintenance and management agency of Patan’s STP ‘Micro Laser’ is not working according to its tender rules. Its investigation boundary was formed. Why not give a notice to the agency and deduct 30% from the amount due on the basis of this report? Any tender of this agency will not be accepted by the municipality until it is explained in the notice given.
