A total of 17 students studying at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Ambheti village of Kaprada taluk of Valsad district were declared infected in 4 days. Regarding this, the health department team conducted RTPCR tests of all the remaining students and staff members staying in the hostel. A total of 138 RTPCR tests were performed. The health department breathed a sigh of relief after all the negative results. Valsad District Collector Kshipra Agre visited the hostel of Navodaya Vidyalaya and got detailed information about the treatment given to the students through quarantine and isolation.

All 17 students were reported infected
The new session of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, located in Ambheti village of Kaprada taluk of Valsad district, started on July 19. A large number of students from outside the district and state come to study in the school including Valsad district. Also, 4 days ago a student was declared infected in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya as teachers also come from other states. Also, within 4 days, a total of 17 students and staff members were declared infected at Navodaya Vidyalaya. Regarding this, the Valsad District Health Department team conducted RTPCR tests of all the students and teachers and employees living in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. In which as many as 138 RTPCR tests were done. The team of district and taluka health department was relieved when all those RTPCR reports came back negative.

Valsad District Collector visited Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and got information about the treatment provided to the students. The students got information about the treatment given during quarantine and isolation. Valsad District Collector asked the health department team to maintain necessary vigilance
