No one wants to end their life, yet people lose their lives by committing suicide. Actually, he is going through stress many times in times of sorrow. At the same time, if they get the counseling of a psychiatrist or the support of someone, then the incidents of suicide can be stopped.

This is to say of Khumesh Patil who reached Chandigarh while traveling on foot from a small village in Maharashtra. He was in shock after the suicide of his cousin (uncle’s daughter). Wrong thoughts also came in the mind due to stress. During this, took the help of a psychiatrist and learned how to relieve stress.

Khumesh told that he had started his march on foot from his village on June 16 and today is the 21st day of his journey. So far he has completed a journey of 1550 kms. He calls it an awareness journey. Khumesh Patil aims to travel 5 thousand kilometers on foot. He wants to make people aware about mental health and to avoid suicides. Khumesh’s next stop is now Ladakh and before that he will go to Shimla.

Khumesh says that people should talk on this subject. His visit is against the increasing number of suicides in the country, especially in the villages. Most people do not pay attention to their mental health. In such a situation, tension surrounds them in the hour of grief and they do not know the way out of this tension.

People are nervous to talk about their mood

Khumesh says that no one in the society wants to talk about their mental condition. He feels that if he talks about this subject then people will call him crazy. People should talk openly on this subject. Many people in the country are suffering from mental illnesses. Most of it is tension and irritability.

Khumesh says that his cousin (uncle’s daughter) had committed suicide in the village itself. While removing his dead body from the fan, he had suffered a blow. To overcome this grief and shock, he took the help of a psychologist, after which he came to know that mental health is also something, which becomes ill in the state of sadness.

Every year 8 lakh people commit suicide in the world

According to a study, the number of suicides in India is 5 times that of total murders. Experts believe that the more a person shares his things with each other, the more his stress will decrease and suicides will decrease.

According to the data, in the year 2020, 1,53,052 people committed suicide in the country. At the same time, around 8 lakh people lose their lives by committing suicide every year around the world. According to Khumesh, 90 percent of people who attempt suicide actually don’t want to die. They become a victim of stress, so they take such steps.
