A 19-year-old girl living in Chhani Jakatnaka area of the city has filed a complaint with the police that she was abandoned by her husband and in-laws after one year of marriage in Bapod.
The marriage took place in July 2021
In the complaint lodged at the Bapod Police Station in Vadodara, the girl has stated that she was in a relationship with Kiran Dineshbhai Solanki (resident of Sri Hari Township, Ajwa Road, Vadodara) for five years. After that, the girl got married to Kiran Solanki in July 2021. A few months after the marriage, mother-in-law, father-in-law and Nanand started demanding dowry.
Husband and in-laws demanded dowry
Mother-in-law says to Parineeta that you have not brought anything from your house. Also used to fight. Complaining to her husband about this to Kiran, the husband also took the role of his mother. Also subjected to physical and mental torture. So Parineeta was taken by her parents to Pier and till today she lives in Pier. So, Parineeta has filed a complaint of dowry demand and harassment against her husband and in-laws in Bapod police station.
