While rural areas have become waterlogged due to torrential rains in Maharashtra for the past few days, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Vidarbha, Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra on Thursday. The Meteorological Department has said that heavy rain will continue in Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the state for the next three to four days. A red alert has been issued in Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur, Raigad, Amravati, Satara, Sindhudurg, Thane and Pune districts on Thursday.
