Congress leader Rahul Gandhi Met with MNREGA activists at Wayanad on Saturday. Meanwhile, he said the UPA government had implemented the MGNREGA scheme. I remember, when this plan was first mentioned, there was a lot of opposition.
This is a waste of money, politicians said. “I was seeing during the Coronation period that this scheme saved thousands of people from becoming unemployed,” said Rahul Gandhi. The PM did not comment on the plan during the Coronation period. Earlier, he described the scheme as a memorial to the failures of the UPA government.
Now the same plan saved the country in the Corona period. The PM had at one point in the Lok Sabha described the scheme as a burden on the government. It seemed to me that, in fact, the PM knew nothing about the scheme. If this scheme is a burden on the country then why this scheme has not been stopped during his eight years of rule.
