When the civil hospital of Rajpipla, the headquarters of Narmada district, was suddenly shifted to the Kovid hospital on the highway, patients rushed to the old hospital. However, the old hospital building has been in a dilapidated condition for years and the work of the new hospital being constructed at Jitnagar is running at a snail’s pace, so the only option was the Kovid Hospital and after receiving the instruction to move the necessary goods there by the civil authorities, this hospital has now been made operational at the Kovid Hospital.

The financial condition of poor patients who come for free treatment will deteriorate
According to local patients and patients coming from surrounding rural areas, it would be better if an emergency ward is kept in the old hospital and the patients arriving there are shifted to the Kovid hospital in a government vehicle. Otherwise, the rickshaw fare to go to the Kovid hospital will cost around 100 rupees, and the financial condition of the poor patients who come for free treatment will deteriorate.
