Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Varanasi today. Modi was involved in many programs here. PM Modi first inaugurated the Akshay Patra Mid Day Meal Kitchen at LT College today and addressed the event. Then Dr. Inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects at Sampurnanand Sports Stadium Sigra. The PM addressed those present at the stadium. Modi said that in 2014, people coming from outside Kashi were questioning that there was so much chaos here. How everything will be organized. Now a picture of Kashi has shown the whole country which has both heritage and development. Work is in full swing to clean and tidy the streets and ghats of Kashi as well as to cleanse the Gangaji. “I am happy to see the way the conscious citizens of Kashi have worked to guide the country,” he said. Thousands of crores of rupees worth of projects like roads, electricity, health etc. have been completed in Kashi. Our aim is to make Kashi more dynamic, progressive. Kashi Sabka Saath is an excellent example of Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. The citizens of Kashi have sent a message to the whole country that shortcuts cannot make the country better. Yes, some notes can be good. Where has Kashi’s infrastructure reached in the last eight years? This has benefited farmers, laborers, traders all. Trade has grown, tourism is expanding.
