Valsad City police along with taluka police raided country liquor dens in connection with the Lattha scandal going on in the state. Valsad City Police raided 7 country liquor outlets and caught 8 people selling country liquor. While the rural police raided 5 local liquor outlets in rural areas and arrested 5 women. When the Dungri police conducted a house raid on 3 local liquor outlets and caught 3 Isamos selling liquor.
Valsad taluka police has also been alerted after the incident of Latha scandal in the state came to light. Police successfully raided liquor dens in 3 police stations of Valsad taluka. While in more than 15 houses, Nil raid was conducted as no amount of alcohol was found during the raid.
In Valsad Taluka Panthak, all the people who vape alcohol were strictly instructed not to vape alcohol. The Valsad City Police went to the areas including Kosamba and raided the houses of the people running the brewery.
Strongly worded instructions have been given to strictly enforce liquor ban in Valsad Panthak. In the coming days, all the police stations of the district, including Valsad taluka, will be strictly poured over the desi liquor.
