Three people of the same family, a resident of Shahpura of Bhilwara, got trapped in the waterfall at Bhimlat Mahadev Waterfall, 40 km away from Bundi. These people were enjoying bath in the waterfall. During this, due to sudden heavy rains, the flow of water in the waterfall intensified. All three got trapped in the waterfall.
According to eyewitnesses, some children, women and youths of Bhilwara district were taking bath in the springs during the high tide. Meanwhile, the water suddenly increased. The children came out but three women and a youth got caught in the strong current. During this it was also raining. The villagers and youths present on the spot, holding ropes and holding each other’s hands, made a chain and saved them.
After some rest they came upstairs. After some time the administration and rescue team from Bundi also reached the spot. Bundi Tourism Officer Prem Shankar said that three people trapped in the Bhimlat dam have been rescued. He was a resident of Shahpura Bhilwara. All three belonged to the same family.
