On the Una-Bhota highway in Himachal Pradesh, three bike-borne youths ran away after picking up a woman’s bag near Kadsai. During this, all three were caught by the villagers and thrashed fiercely. After this the villagers handed over the accused to the Bangana police. The three accused are said to be from Nawanshahr, Punjab. Police is interrogating all three.
According to the information received, on Monday afternoon, the woman of Palata village was going home on a bike with her son. During this, the woman complained of vomiting near the Kadsai. On which the son parked the bike on the side of the road. His mother put her bag on the bike. Meanwhile, 3 youths riding a bike coming from Lathian side started running away after picking up the woman’s bag.
A person coming on the bike from behind saw him lifting the bag. He followed unknown people. Near Tanoh, the accused left the highway and turned towards the link road. In this, the person chasing made a noise. On which the villagers caught the three accused. Meanwhile, he threw the woman’s bag on the side of the fields. After this the villagers thrashed him a lot.
The villagers took out the bags thrown in the fields. After which the police was informed. On information, the police reached the spot and handed over the three accused. The woman’s bag contained about 10 thousand rupees and necessary documents. On the other hand, SHO Prempal Sharma said that 3 accused have been detained in this case. The police is interrogating them. Also the bag has been handed over to the woman.
