A young man named Kamlesh Amrubhai Anare, originally from Madhya Pradesh, who was working as a farm laborer in Shaileshbhai’s wadi at Kalavad Road, Dankot village of the city, was taken to the hospital for treatment two days ago after ingesting poison for unknown reasons. He died two days later in the ongoing treatment. Kamlesh had come to Rajkot with his wife and nephew two months ago. Investigation revealed that the wife is currently pregnant. However, it is not known why Kamlesh took the step.
While in another suicide incident, an old man has cut short his life by hanging himself. An old man named Dahiben Natubhai Talsania living in Magharwada village near Kuwadwa has cut short his life by hanging himself with a saree at his house. The investigation revealed that Dahibe, a mother of eight children, took the step because of mental illness.
