In Surendranagar district also, regarding the successful and smooth planning of this campaign, District Collector K.C. A meeting was held in the hall of the District Seva Sadan under the chairmanship of Sampat.

In this meeting, the Collector said that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is an opportunity to express the spirit of patriotism, to inculcate the qualities of patriotism in the new generation and to remember the martyrs who sacrificed for the freedom of the country. This great nation is completing 75 years of independence. He instructed the officials to work towards the celebration in the district and participation of the district residents.
More than 5 lakh flags will be hoisted in the district
Under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, every house, government offices, private institutions, industrial units, schools-colleges, police stations, milk societies, APMCs, cooperative societies, cheap food grain shops, petrol pumps, hotels, The love of the country will be expressed by hoisting the national flag in places including neighborhoods, shops. A small flag is being made available for just Rs.18 and a big flag for just Rs.25 so that everyone can participate in the celebration of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. As part of the celebration, more than 5 lakh flags will be hoisted in the district.

Flags will be made available by Mehta Khadi Udyog Griha, Wadwan, Surendranagar Zilla Sarvodaya Vikas Mandal- Joravarnagar, Saghankshetra Yojana Patdi etc. for the sale of flags. The concerned officials were instructed to provide adequate support from the system to sell more and more flags by making adequate arrangements for sale at these centers.

The district administration gave instructions to sensitize the citizens to hoist the flag in a manner that complies with the flag code.
