Tikalben Halapati, a resident of Virawal village of Navsari, was admitted to Navsari Civil in the ninth month of pregnancy and gave birth to a son on 16th August after being admitted. As her health deteriorated, she was referred by Navsari Civil to Surat Civil for further treatment where on 17th August during treatment at Surat Civil. He died so that the aura of a day-old child losing its mother has fallen on the family.
