Dhruvi Soni of Bhuj, who has been interested in becoming a mountaineer since childhood, has become the first Kutch girl to climb 17,350 feet after completing a mountain climbing course organized in Manali. He completed the physically challenging Mountaineering Institute course at Manali Mountaineering Institute in just 26 days. In which one has to climb with a heavy bag of 30 kg and also have to follow the military discipline, which can be said to be a proud thing for Kutch.

Since 2015, mountain climbing training seminars led by Dhruvi Soni, who has been hill climbing at various locations, trained not only climbing but also 105 other mountaineers under his chairmanship. Dhruvi Soni told about his experience that he completed this extremely difficult and dangerous climb in approximately three days. During that time, he reached 17350 feet after facing many difficulties including heavy wind, rain, snowfall and constantly changing weather conditions.

It is mentioned here that Dhruvi Soni had earlier also climbed 17350 feet in September 2019 and has now become the first adventurous Kutch girl from Kutch to successfully climb 17350 feet once again in July-2022.
