- Forest and Environment Department is bringing public awareness
Along with Vande Gujarat Vikas Yatra, two Raths were allotted in Morbi district as part of Vikas Yatra. Arrangements were made for the distribution of medicinal plants by the Forest and Environment Department wherever the Vikas Yatra Rath arrived.
With the aim of achieving the concept of green Gujarat and making people aware of the benefits of medicinal plants and making medicinal plants available at their doorsteps, forest and environment department distributed medicinal plants at every place during Vande Gujarat Vikas Yatra. More than ten thousand medicinal plants were distributed by Morbi Forest and Environment Department along with Vande Gujarat Vikas Yatra.
Stalls were being organized by the Forest Department along with the Vande Gujarat Vikas Rath where these medicinal plants could be distributed, under which the dignitaries and officials present distributed the medicinal plants to the villagers. Besides, dignitaries present in these programs were also welcomed by medicinal plants.
