Shravan Monday 2022 Puja Ritual
- On the fourth Monday of Shravan take a bath before sunrise and first offer arghya to the sun. By offering arghya to the sun in Ravi Yoga, serious diseases are cured.
- Observe the fast by sprinkling Ganges water at the place of worship and first invoke Lord Ganesha, Mother Parvati and Lord Shankar.
- Now worship Shivlinga. It is very fruitful to perform Rudrabhishek on Shravan Monday by making a Parthiv Shivlinga.
- Worship Goddess Parvati with Shodshopachara along with Bholenath while chanting Shiva’s Panchakshara Mantra ‘Om Shivaay Namah’. Offer milk, curd, ghee, sugar, panchamrut, roli, moli, akshat, belapatra, dhatoor, shami, bhang, bhasma, bhaudal, sandalwood, rudraksha, anka flower etc.
- Worship Bholanath together with husband and wife and recite Shiva Chalisa. It is believed that this makes married life happy. Now offer incense, agarbatti, fruit, sweets and perform aarti.
