Salman Khan’s body double, Sagar Pandey, is no more. The young man passed away after suffering from a heart attack. The superstar took to his Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute for Sagar.

Salman Khan, who was last seen in Antim, posted a picture with Sagar. In the caption, he wrote, “Dil se shukar adda kar raha hoon for being there with me. May your soul rest in peace brother Sagar. Thank u 🙏 #RIP #SagarPandey.” See the post here:

Sagar reportedly suffered from a heart attack while working out at the gym. Prashant Walde, the famous body double of Shah Rukh Khan, was quoted by Bollywood Hungama saying, “Sagar was working in the gym when he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately taken to Hindu Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackerey Trauma Care Municipal Hospital at Jogeshwari East, Mumbai. That’s where he was declared dead. I am quite shocked. He was perfectly fit and healthy. He was too young to pass away. His age must have been around 45-50 years.”

It was Sagar who had played the body double of the superstar in films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Tubelight, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dabangg among many other films. Sagar Pandey said that he worked in more than 50 films as the Salman Khan’s duplicate. In an warlier interview, Sagar had told ABP, “Whatever I am, it is because of Salman Khan. I came to Mumbai to become an actor but unless you have a godfather, it is hard to get work. But being a superstar’s body double is a big thing in itself.”

He had also added, “We are six brothers and my financial situation is better than everybody else due to Salman Khan. I have to support them as well as their kids.”

Industrialist Harsh Goenka frequently shares interesting posts with his 1.7 million followers on Twitter. This time too, the RPG Group Chairperson delighted social media users with a video of a “unique rangoli competition” in which the participating women designed their rangolis – a traditional Indian art form using coloured sand or powder to decorate a floor – just like the patterns and motifs on the dupattas of their sarees. 

“Unique rangoli competition…amazing to see the crafts of our people,” Mr Goenka captioned the post.

The 39-second-long video shows the brilliant artworks of women participating in the competition. They are seen standing next to their beautiful rangolis inspired by the designs on the clothes they are wearing.

Mr Goenka shared the clip on Thursday. He didn’t reveal when and where the competition took place. However, the video definitely left internet users amazed. 

The clip has garnered more than 45,000 views and thousands of likes and comments. Netizens flooded the comment section with clapping and thumbs-up emojis. 

“Super talented ladies. Each Rangoli is mind-blowing,” wrote one user. “Extraordinary creativity,” expressed another. 

A third said, “Very nice theme! Creativity knows no bounds.” A fourth commented, “Astounded the competitors r so unique  that the judge will have a difficult time thinking the winner.”

Meanwhile, Mr Goenka recently also posted an old video revealing “what really excites” Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group of Industries who is well-known for his philanthropy. In the clip, the 84-year-old business tycoon talked about the “greatest pleasures” of his life. “The greatest pleasure I’ve had is trying to do something, everybody says ‘could not be done,'” Ratan Tata revealed in the clip.

‘The plunder of India’: Putin slams West as Russia annexes Ukraine's 4 regions | World News

President Vladimir Putin on Friday cited India’s example while accusing the West of provoking colour revolution in any country for geopolitical gains, alleging that the West wanted to make Russia a “colony”.

“The West … began its colonial policy back in the Middle Ages, and then followed the slave trade, the genocide of Indian tribes in America, the plunder of India, of Africa, the wars of England and France against China … What they did was hooking entire nations on drugs, deliberately exterminate entire ethnic groups,” said Putin in the St George’s Hall at a Kremlin ceremony, news agency Reuters reported.

At a grand ceremony, Putin formally announced the annexation of Ukraine’s four regions – Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia and claimed that “this is the will of millions of people”.

“For the sake of land and resources, they (the West) hunted people like animals. This is contrary to the very nature of man, truth, freedom and justice,” news agency ANI quoted Putin as saying.

Putin said that the West stands ready to provoke revolution in any country. “Following their goals, our geopolitical opponents – our opponents as we called them until quite recently – are prepared to put anyone, any country, in the line of fire; to turn it into the epicentre of a crisis; to provoke a “colour revolution” and unleash a bloodbath,” Reuters added.

“We have seen all this on more than one occasion. We also know that the West works on scenarios to stir up new conflicts in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) area. But we have enough of them as it is. You need but look at what’s happening now between Russia and Ukraine, what’s happening on the borders of some other CIS countries,” he added.

Putin said the residents in the four annexed regions will now be Russia’s “citizens forever”.While denying seeking revival of the Soviet Union by the said annexation, Putin accused Western states – which have imposed sweeping sanctions on Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine.

Moreover, in a strong statement, Putin also added that Russia would now defend its new territory “with all the means at its disposal.”

Putin also accused the West of sabotaging Russia-built natural gas pipelines under the Baltic Sea to Germany, a charge vehemently denied by the United States and its allies. Nordic nations said the undersea blasts that damaged the pipelines this week and have led to huge methane leaks involved several hundred pounds of explosives.

The claim by Putin came ahead of an emergency meeting Friday at the UN Security Council in New York on the attacks on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, and as Norwegian researchers published a map projecting that a huge plume of methane from the damaged pipelines will travel over large swaths of the Nordic region.

In Washington, US President Joe Biden’s administration dismissed Putin’s pipeline claims as outlandish.

New Semi-High Speed Train Covers 492 Km In Less Than 6 Hours In Maiden Run

The new Vande Bharat Express semi-high speed train on Friday covered the distance of 492 km between Ahmedabad and Mumbai in 5.30 hours during its inaugural journey.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the train from Gandhinagar around 10:30 in the morning.

The train departed for Mumbai from platform number 9 of the Ahmedabad railway station at 2 pm and reached the Mumbai Central station at 7.30 pm.

Sumit Thakur, chief public relations officer of Western Railway, said there were 313 passengers on board — 47 in executive chair car class and others in chair car coaches — besides railway officials and mediapersons.

The booking for the new train had opened only a day before.

The passengers were excited to be part of the train’s inaugural run and clicked photos as well as shot videos on mobile phones during the journey.

As the train streaked by, passengers at various stations along the route, railway employees working on the adjoining tracks and passers-by on the roads and people in the buildings along the tracks were also seen clicking pictures or shooting videos.

Vacuum toilets like those seen at airports, spacious and rotating seats in the executive chair car class, the passenger addressing system, wide windows and end-to-end gangway were some of the most appreciated features of the new train.

Jaydeep Nimawat, a real estate businessman who was travelling to Surat from Ahmedabad with his family for Navratri celebrations, was clearly impressed.

“This train is awesome compared to other trains. The seats are spacious and comfortable,” he said.

Siddharth Kinariwala, a railway enthusiast, said he booked a ticket online for a journey from Ahmedabad to Surat.

“I booked a ticket as soon as my boss approved the leave this morning. I wanted to have first-hand experience of the train,” he said.

The seats are comfortable and have good leg space, and the interiors as well as the facilities for passengers too are good, he said.

K K Thakur, co-loco pilot for the Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad journey, told PTI that it was a great honour for him and his colleague to get the opportunity to pilot the inaugural run.

They were given special training beforehand as the train’s dashboard is different from that installed on ordinary trains, he said.

“When we left Gandhinagar, the atmosphere was charged. People chanted ‘Vande Mataram’ when the prime minister showed the green flag,” Thakur said.

Yogesh Shah, who had booked a return journey ticket too, said he was very much enjoying the ride.

“The train is feature-rich, but it also needs to be maintained well,” Shah said.

The fare was reasonable considering the facilities, he added.

The chair car coaches are a little bit congested due to the narrow gangway, a railway official observed.

An employee of the IRCTC said they faced difficulty pushing food trolleys as seat handles obstructed the movement.

“But compared to the old Vande Bharat trains running on other routes, this train has better seats as these are the reclining ones,” the employee said, adding that the interiors too are much better.

The train, which connects the capital cities of Maharashtra and Gujarat, is the third Vande Bharat Express. The first such train was started on New Delhi-Varanasi route, while the second one was started on New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra route.

વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદી (PM Narendra Modi) નો બનાસકાંઠામાં ભવ્ય રોડ શો યોજાયો હતો. બનાસકાંઠામાં હેલિપેડ ગ્રાઉન્ડથી ચીખાલામાં કાર્યક્રમ સ્થળ સુધીનો વડાપ્રધાનનો સાતથી આઠ કિલોમીટર લાંબો રોડ શો  યોજાયો હતો. આ રોડ શો (Roadshow) દરમિયાન રોડના બંને સાઈડ વિશાળ સંખ્યામાં માનવ મહેરામણ ઉમટ્યુ હતુ. લોકો પીએમને જોવા માટે ઉત્સુક અને અધિરા બન્યા હતા. પીએમના આગમનને લઈને અહીં આવેલા લોકોમાં કંઈક અલગ જ પ્રકારની ખુશી જોવા મળતી હતી. વડાપ્રધાન (PM)ને આવકારવા માટે તેમનામાં એક પ્રકારનો થનગનાટ જોવા મળતો હતો. હજારોની જનમેદની રોડની બંને સાઈડ એક્ઠી થઈ હતી.

ભાતીગળ પોષાકમાં સહુ કોઈ પીએમને આવકારવા ઉત્સુક

ખાસ કરીને આદિવાસી વિસ્તારના લોકો તેમના પરંપરાગત પોષાકમાં ઢોલ નગારા વગાડી અને નૃત્ય કરી વડાપ્રધાનનું સ્વાગત અને અભિવાદન કરતા જોવા મળ્યા હતા. દાંતા તાલુકાની પરંપરાગત સંસ્કૃતિ પ્રમાણે તેઓ પીએમના સ્વાગત માટે આવી પહોચ્યા હતા. આ આઠ કિલોમીટરના રૂટ પર જ્યાં જુઓ ત્યાં વિશાળ જનસૈલાબ ઉમટ્યો હતો અને જ્યાં જ્યાંથી વડાપ્રધાનની કાર પસાર થઈ લોકો ફુલોની વર્ષા કરી રહ્યા હતા. પુષ્પોની એટલી હદે વર્ષા થઈ રહી હતી કે પીએમની કારનુ બોનેટ પુષ્પોથી ભરાઈ ગયુ હતુ.

પોતાના પીએમ માટેની અપાર લાગણી આ દૃશ્યો દ્વારા જોઈ શકાય છે. નાના-મોટા, મહિલાઓ, વૃદ્ધો સહુ કોઈ બસ પીએમના રૂટ પર ઉભા રહી ગયા હતા અને વડાપ્રધાનને આવકારી રહ્યા હતા તો વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદ પણ દરેક લોકોનુ અભિવાદન જીલવાનો પ્રયાસ કરતા જોવા મળ્યા હતા. રોડ શો રૂટ પર એટલી મોટી સંખ્યામાં આવેલા માનવ મહેરામણને જોઈને પીએ મોદી પણ લાગણીથી ભાવવિભોર બન્યા હતા. આ વાતનો ઉલ્લેખ તેમણે અંબાજીમાં તેમની જનસભામાં પણ કર્યો અને જણાવ્યુ કે જે રીતે લોકોનો પ્રેમ તેમને રોડ શોમાં જોવા મળ્યો એ પ્રેમને વશ થઈ તેઓ સભા સ્થળે પણ થોડા મોડા પહોંચ્યા હતા.

Photo Reveals Ashok Gehlot's Cheat-Sheet For Meeting With Sonia Gandhi

He may have come out with an apology, but he went in to draw blood. Ashok Gehlot’s meeting with Sonia Gandhi on Thursday concluded with the Rajasthan Chief Minister quitting the race for Congress President as well as symbolic capitulation, but his notes for the session have painted an entirely different picture.

Captured by Malayala Manorama photographer J Suresh, a photo of the cheat-sheet Mr Gehlot carried into the meeting has offered rare insight into the points he most likely raised with Ms Gandhi.

The picture reveals a charge-sheet of sorts against Mr Gehlot’s younger rival, Sachin Pilot. It was Sachin Pilot’s probable appointment as Chief Minister if Mr Gehlot moved to Delhi to lead the party, that had spurred an all-out revolt by MLAs loyal to the latter and thus the end of the plan.

Making severe allegations against Sachin Pilot, referred to as ‘SP’, Mr Gehlot’s notes claimed he enjoyed the “support of 102 MLAs as against 18” by his rival and that there was every chance of the younger Congress leader “quitting the party for political gains”.

They also accused Sachin Pilot of having attempted to “overthrow” the Congress government in the state as state party chief in collusion with the BJP, which had tried to buy out MLAs by offering Rs 10 to 50 crore.

According to the photo, Mr Gehlot planned to start off his case to Ms Gandhi saying, “Jo hua bahut dukhad hai, main bhi bahut aahat hun (What happened is very sad, I am also deeply hurt)” – an apparent reference to the rebellion by his camp.

“Rajneeti mein hawa badalte dekh, saath-chhor dete hain. Yahaan aisa nahin hua (There is a culture of changing sides, looking at the changing political scenario. It didn’t happen here)…” it said – an apparent defence of his MLAs.

“SP will leave party – observer pehle sahi report dete toh party ke liye achcha hota (If observers had given a correct report earlier, it would have been good for the party)”, the notes said, also accusing Sachin Pilot of being “Pehla pradesh adhyaksh jisne sarkaar girane ki poori koshish ki (The first state president who tried his best to topple the government)”.

Neither the Congress, nor Ashok Gehlot have commented on the picture yet.

સુરતના(Surat) સીટીલાઈટ સ્થિત આવેલા નેમિનાથ એપાર્ટમેન્ટમાં થોડા દિવસો પહેલા 21.07 લાખની ચોરી(Theft)  થઇ હતી. આ બનાવમાં સુરત ક્રાઈમ (Crime)  બ્રાંચની ટીમને મોટી સફળતા મળી છે.પોલીસે ચોરી કરનાર યુવકને ઝડપી પાડ્યો છે.ત્યારે જાણવા મળ્યું કે યુવક પોતે શ્રીમંત અને ખુબજ સારા ઘરના પરિવાર માંથી આવે છે. કરોડો રૂપિયાના બંગલામાં રહે છે છતાં ચોરી કરતો હતો.આ યુવક ખરાબ મિત્રોની સંગતમાં પોતાના મોજશોખ પુરા કરવા ચોરીના રવાડે ચડી ગયો હતો તેમ પોલીસ તપાસમાં જાણવા મળ્યું હતું.

સુરતમાં ગત 19 ઓગસ્ટના રોજ સીટીલાઈટ ખાતે આવેલા નેમીનાથ એપાર્ટમેન્ટમાં રહેતા પ્રિયાંક રાજેન્દ્રકુમાર શાહના ઘરમાં ચોરી થઇ હતી. અજાણ્યો યુવક કાચની બારીનું સ્લાઈડીગ લોક તોડી ઘરમાં પ્રવેશ્યો હતો અને ઘરમાંથી સોનાના ડાયમંડ ઝડીત દાગીના મળી કુલ 21.07 લાખની મત્તા ચોરી કરી ફરાર થઇ ગયો હતો. આ સમગ્ર મામલે ઉમરા પોલીસ મથકમાં ફરિયાદ નોંધાઈ હતી. આ બનાવમાં સુરત ક્રાઈમ બ્રાંચની પીએસઆઇ સિંધા ની ટીમે બાતમીના આધારે અલથાણ ખાતે માન સરોવર બંગ્લોઝમાં રહેતા સુમિત તુલસીસિંગ રાજપૂતને ઝડપી પાડ્યો છે.રૂપિયા 21 લાખની ચોરીના કેસમાં સુરત ક્રાઈમ બ્રાન્ચ પોલીસે ઝડપી પાડેલ સુમિત રાજપુતનું પરિવાર લક્ઝરીયસ લાઈફ જીવે છે. અલથાણ ખાતે આવેલા કરોડોની કિંમતના માન સરોવર બંગલામાં રહે છે. પરિવાર ટેક્સટાઇલનો બિઝનેસ કરે છે. પિતા નથી પરંતુ બે ભાઈ ટેક્સટાઇલના વેપારી છે.તેમના ભાઈએ તુલસી સિંહ રાજપુતને ટેક્સટાઇલ પેપરમાં સેટ કરવા કાપડની દુકાન પણ કરી આપી હતી. પરંતુ તે વ્યવસ્થિત ચાલી ન શકતા બંધ કરી દીધી હતી.

પોલીસે જણાવ્યું હતું કે આરોપી ખરાબ મિત્રોની સંગતમાં અને પોતાના મોજશોખ પુરા કરવા સારું ચોરીના રવાડે ચડી ગયો હતો. આરોપી કોલેજમાંથી અભ્યાસ પૂર્ણ કર્યો છે તે સારા ઘરનો છોકરો છે અને કોલેજ પૂર્ણ કર્યા બાદ તેણે પોતાનો ધંધો શરુ કર્યો હતો પરંતુ તેમાં તે સફળ રહ્યો ના હતો અને તે ચાર છ મહિનાથી બેકાર હતો. અને આખરે ખરાબ મિત્રોની સંગત અને પોતાના મોજશોખ પુરા કરવા તે ચોરીના રવાડે ચડી ગયો હતો. અને તેણે આ ચોરી કરી હતી.ડીસીબી પોલીસે આરોપીની ધરપકડ કરી તેની પાસેથી 7.70 લાખના સોના ચાંદીના દાગીના, એક મોબાઈલ, એક બાઈક તેમજ રોકડા રૂપિયા 21 હજાર મળી કુલ 8.31 લાખનો મુદામાલ કબજે કર્યો હતો. પોલીસ તપાસમાં ઉમરા પોલીસ મથકમાં નોંધાયેલા ગુનાનો ભેદ ઉકેલાઈ ગયો હતો.

મધ્યપ્રદેશના બાંધવગઢ ટાઈગર રિઝર્વમાંથી ઐતિહાસિક ધરોહર મળી આવી છે. તેમાં 26 ગુફા, 26 મંદિર, 2 બૌદ્ધ મઠ, 2 સ્તૂપ, 24 લેખો, 46 કલાકૃતિઓ, 19 જળસ્ત્રોત મળી આવ્યા છે. તેમાં શિવલિંગ અને વિષ્ણુના દશાવતારની મૂર્તિઓ પણ છે.

ભારતીય પુરાતત્ત્વ સર્વેક્ષણ દ્વારા આ ધરોહર બાંધવગઢના 175 વર્ગ કિલોમીટર વિસ્તારમાં મળી આવ્યો છે. આ બધા અવશેષો 2 હજાર વર્ષ જૂના છે. તેનાથી ઐતિહાસિક અને રસપ્રદ જાણકારીઓ પણ મળી રહી છે.

ભારતીય પુરાતત્ત્વ સર્વેક્ષણ દ્વારા આ ધરોહર બાંધવગઢના 175 વર્ગ કિલોમીટર વિસ્તારમાં મળી આવ્યો છે. આ બધા અવશેષો 2 હજાર વર્ષ જૂના છે. તેનાથી ઐતિહાસિક અને રસપ્રદ જાણકારીઓ પણ મળી રહી છે.

મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં જે પ્રકારની ગુફાઓ મળી હતી, તે જ પ્રકારની ગુફાઓ અહિંયા પણ મળી આવી છે. આ 26 ગુફાઓમાં બોદ્વ ધર્મ સાથે સંબંધિત કેટલાક અવશેષો મળી આવ્યા છે.

મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં જે પ્રકારની ગુફાઓ મળી હતી, તે જ પ્રકારની ગુફાઓ અહિંયા પણ મળી આવી છે. આ 26 ગુફાઓમાં બોદ્વ ધર્મ સાથે સંબંધિત કેટલાક અવશેષો મળી આવ્યા છે.

26 પ્રાચીન મંદિરોમાં ભગવાન વિષ્ણુના શયન મુદ્રાની પ્રતિમા સહિત અનેક પ્રતિમાઓ મળી આવી છે.

Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra shared a video of her dancing with people as part of a procession to mark Mahapanchami celebrations in Nadia in West Bengal today. 

In it, she matches step with other women on a Bengali folk song, walking the streets. The chorus goes, “Sohag chand bodoni dhoni nacho toh dekhi”, roughly translating to: “O beautiful woman, with a face like the moon, show me how you dance.” 

Celebrated on the fifth day of the nine-day Navratri festival, Mahapanchami sees devotees worshipping the fifth incarnation of Durga.

Ms Moitra’s video got a number of replies — she has over 7 lakh Twitter followers — with responses such as, “Love your energy and fire” and “The way you connect with people, stay the same and stay blessed always”.

Known to be religious, Ms Moitra was recently trolled over speaking about different ways of worship: “For me, Goddess Kali is a meat-eating and alcohol-accepting goddess. If you go to Tarapith (a major shrine in Bengal’s Birbhum district), you will see sadhus smoking. That is the version of Kali people worship (there). I, within Hinduism, being a Kali worshipper, have the right to imagine Kali in that way; that is my freedom.”

She was trolled — primarily by political rival BJP, which said she had “insulted” the goddess — but she held her ground. “I have the freedom to do it (envision a meat-eating goddess) as much as you have the freedom to worship your god as vegetarian and white-clothed,” she’d said.

કેન્સર નિષ્ણાત ડો.અનુરાગ જણાવે છે કે તમાકુનું સેવન કેન્સરનું સૌથી મોટું કારણ માનવામાં આવે છે. તમાકુથી મોઢાનું કેન્સર થાય છે. તેમાંથી, ધૂમ્રપાનથી ફેફસાંનું કેન્સર થાય છે અને દર વર્ષે લાખો લોકો તેનાથી મૃત્યુ પામે છે. કોઈપણ સ્વરૂપમાં તમાકુ એ કેન્સરનું મુખ્ય કારણ છે. આવા ઘણા કિસ્સાઓ છે જેમાં ખૈની, જર્દા કે પાન મસાલા ખાવાથી લોકોને મોઢાનું કેન્સર થયું હોય. આવી સ્થિતિમાં લોકો તમાકુનું સેવન ન કરે તે જરૂરી છે.

ખોરાકની કાળજી લેતા નથી

આહારમાં લાલ માંસનું વધુ પડતું સેવન કેન્સરનું જોખમ વધારી શકે છે. ચરબી, પ્રોટીન અને જંક ફૂડની વધુ માત્રા પાચનતંત્રને બગાડવા લાગે છે, જેના કારણે પેટ અને આંતરડાના કેન્સરનો ખતરો રહે છે. ઘણા અહેવાલો સૂચવે છે કે આહાર પર ધ્યાન ન આપવાથી કેન્સર થઈ શકે છે. એટલા માટે લોકોએ ખોરાકનું ધ્યાન રાખવું જોઈએ. ખોરાકમાં વધુ પડતું મીઠું, લોટનું સેવન ટાળવું જોઈએ અને જંક ફૂડ ખાવાનું પણ ટાળવું જોઈએ.

વધતી જતી સ્થૂળતા

સ્થૂળતા કેન્સરનું જોખમ વધારે છે. શરીરમાં ચરબી હોવાને કારણે સ્વાદુપિંડ, સ્તન અને કેન્સરનો વિકાસ થઈ શકે છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં, જો શરીરમાં ચરબી વધી રહી છે, તો તેને નિયંત્રિત કરવું જરૂરી છે. આ કસરત માટે નિયમિત. દિવસમાં ઓછામાં ઓછી 15 મિનિટ કસરત કરો અને આહાર પર પણ ધ્યાન આપો. સ્થૂળતા નિયંત્રણમાં રહેવાથી કેન્સર ઉપરાંત અન્ય ઘણી બીમારીઓનું જોખમ પણ ઘટશે.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday that Kyiv would not negotiate with Russia – which annexed four territories in Ukraine – as long as President Vladimir Putin was in power. At a grand ceremony in the Kremlin, Putin annexed Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine controlled by his army and urged Kyiv to lay down its arms and negotiate an end to seven months of fighting.

“Ukraine will not hold any negotiations with Russia as long as Putin is the president of the Russian Federation. We will negotiate, but with the new president,” Zelensky said.

The Ukraine leader also said he is requesting fast-track NATO membership. “We have already proven our compatibility with (NATO) alliance standards,” Zelensky said in a video posted by the Ukrainian presidency on social media.

“We are taking a decisive step by signing Ukraine’s application for accelerated accession to NATO,” he added.

“By attempting to annex Ukraine’s Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, (Russian President Vladimir) Putin tries to grab territories he doesn’t even physically control on the ground. Nothing changes for Ukraine: we continue liberating our land and our people, restoring our territorial integrity,” Ukraine’s foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba said on social media.

Putin was defiant during an address to Russia’s most senior political elite, telling the West the land grab was irreversible and calling on Ukraine’s emboldened army to give up and negotiate a surrender.

“I want to say this to the Kyiv regime and its masters in the West: People living in Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia are becoming our citizens forever,” Putin said.

The packed hall erupted to chants of “Russia! Russia” after the four leaders inked the deal, and Putin – rarely seen making physical contact since the pandemic – joined hands with his proxy leaders and was shown shouting along in unison on state TV.

Leading up to the ceremony Putin warned he could use nuclear weapons to retain control of the territories as Kyiv vowed the move would make no difference to its aims of kicking out Russian troops.

Ukraine’s closest backer, Washington, said it would “never” recognise Russia’s authority in the regions.

BJP, Poll Panel 'Snatched Power' From Samajwadi Party, Says Akhilesh Yadav

BJP will be removed from the Centre if they are wiped out from Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav said.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday alleged that the ruling BJP and the Election Commission “snatched power” from his outfit, a day after he accused the poll panel of striking off names of their supporters from the voters’ list.

Mr Yadav on Thursday had claimed that the Election Commission at the “behest of the BJP” struck off names of Muslim and Yadav voters in every Assembly constituency, apparently referring to the state elections earlier this year.

“The BJP and the Election Commission together snatched power from the Samajwadi Party,” he said addressing Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders at the Ram Manohar Lohia auditorium here, according to a statement.

Mr Yadav alleged that the BJP is “adamant on murdering democracy and misusing power”, which is tarnishing transparency and impartiality of the elections.

“The BJP is hatching different type of conspiracies. It does the politics of fear and temptation. The BJP is the most corrupt party and soaked in ego. The BJP is making the soil of Uttar Pradesh impure,” he said, adding the need is to remain awaken to save democracy.

He stressed that to remove the BJP from power in the 2024 parliamentary polls, Uttar Pradesh will be playing a leading role.

They will be removed from the Centre if they are wiped out from Uttar Pradesh, he said.

“For this, we will have to strengthen the party organisation up to the booth level and reach out to people with our policies and programmes,” he said.

ભારતીય મહિલા ક્રિકેટ ટીમે (Indian Women Cricket Team) ઈંગ્લેન્ડમાં ODI શ્રેણીમાં ઐતિહાસિક ક્લીન સ્વીપ તો કર્યું જ, પરંતુ ઈંગ્લેન્ડ ક્રિકેટ અને વિશ્વ ક્રિકેટમાં ‘સ્પોર્ટ્સમેનશિપ’ માટે રડનારાઓના મોઢા પર થપ્પડ પણ લગાવી દીધી. દીપ્તિ શર્મા (Deepti Sharma) એ ઈંગ્લેન્ડના બેટ્સમેન ચાર્લી ડીનને રન આઉટ કરી, જેનાથી ઈંગ્લિશ ક્રિકેટરો અને ત્યાંના મીડિયામાં ગુસ્સે ભરાયા અને ત્યારથી આ અંગે ચર્ચા ચાલી રહી છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં ફરી એકવાર કેપ્ટન હરમનપ્રીત કૌરે (Harmanpreet Kaur) સ્પષ્ટ કર્યું છે કે જે પણ થયું તે નિયમોના દાયરામાં હતું.

ઈંગ્લેન્ડની જીત બાદ ટીમ ઈન્ડિયા હવે બાંગ્લાદેશ પહોંચી ગઈ છે, જ્યાં 1 ઓક્ટોબર શનિવારથી મહિલા એશિયા કપ T20 શરૂ થઈ રહી છે. સ્વાભાવિક રીતે અહીં પણ આ પ્રશ્ન ટીમ ઈન્ડિયા અને ખાસ કરીને ભારતીય કેપ્ટનનો પીછો છોડવાનો નથી. શુક્રવાર 30 સપ્ટેમ્બરે ટૂર્નામેન્ટ પહેલા આયોજિત પ્રેસ કોન્ફરન્સમાં હરમનપ્રીતને આ રનઆઉટ અને તેના પર થયેલા વિવાદ પર સવાલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

ઇંગ્લિશ બેટર ફાયદો ઉઠાવી રહી હતી

એ દિવસે જે રીતે કેપ્ટન કૌરે લોર્ડ્સમાં દીપ્તિ શર્માની તરફેણમાં જોરદાર અવાજ ઉઠાવ્યો હતો, હરમનપ્રીતે આ વખતે પણ એ જ અંદાજ દેખાડ્યો હતો. કેપ્ટને કહ્યું કે ઈંગ્લિશ બેટ્સમેન પર આરોપ લગાવતા તેણે કહ્યું કે, અમે છેલ્લી કેટલીક મેચોથી આ બાબતો પર ધ્યાન આપી રહ્યા છીએ. તે ક્રિઝની બહાર જઈ રહી હતી અને અયોગ્ય લાભ લઈ રહી હતી, તે દીપ્તિની જાગરુકતા હતી.

યોજના નથી, પણ ખોટી પણ નથી

જો કે હરમનપ્રીતે એ પણ સ્પષ્ટ કર્યું હતું કે આ રીતે અંતિમ વિકેટ લેવી ટીમની યોજનાનો ભાગ ન હતો પરંતુ જીતવા માટે નિયમો સાથે કંઈ ખોટું કર્યું નથી અને હવે વાત અહીં જ સમાપ્ત થવી જોઈએ. ભારતીય કેપ્ટને કહ્યું, તે પ્લાનનો ભાગ ન હતો પરંતુ દરેક ત્યાં મેચ જીતવા માટે રમી રહ્યા હતા. જ્યારે પણ તમે મેદાન પર હોવ છો, તમે કોઈપણ કિંમતે જીતવા માંગો છો. સૌથી અગત્યનું, આ રીતે બહાર નીકળવું એ નિયમો હેઠળ હતું. આપણે આને પાછળ છોડીને આગળ વધવું પડશે.

India’s 5G moment: What we can expect from the rollout event

Heralding the dawn of a new era in technology, PM Narendra Modi will launch 5G services at 10 AM tomorrow, October 1 at India Mobile Congress (IMC 2022) in New Delhi. PM Modi will visit the exhibition and witness the demonstration of the use cases of 5G technology in multiple areas. The various use cases that will be demonstrated include precision drone based farming; high security routers & AI-based cyber threat detection platform; automated guided vehicles; Ambupod – Smart Ambulance; Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality/Mix Reality in education and skill development; sewage monitoring system; smart-agri programme; health diagnostics, among others.

What will we get to see
The three major telecom operators of the country will demonstrate one use case each in front of the Prime Minister to show the potential of 5G technology in India.

Reliance Jio will connect a teacher from a school in Mumbai with students at three different locations in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Odisha. The aim is to demonstrate how 5G will facilitate education by bringing teachers closer to students, obliviating the physical distance between them. It will demonstrate the power of Augmented Reality (AR) on screen and how that is being used to teach children across the country, remotely, without the need of an AR device.

In the Airtel demo, a girl from Uttar Pradesh will witness an immersive education experience to learn about the solar system with the help of Virtual reality and Augmented reality. The girl will share her experience of learning with the PM by appearing on the dias through a hologram.

The Vodafone Idea test case will demonstrate safety of workers at an under construction tunnel of Delhi Metro through creation of a Digital Twin of the tunnel on the dias. Digital Twin will give safety alerts to workers in real time from a remote location. PM will take a live demo from the dias to monitor the work in real time.

What are the key benefits of 5G
The 5G technology will offer a wide range of benefits to common people. It will help in providing seamless coverage, high data rate, low latency, and highly reliable communications. The technology will increase energy efficiency, spectrum efficiency and network efficiency. 5G technology will help in connecting billions of Internet of Things devices, allow higher quality video services with mobility at high speed, delivery of critical services such as tele-surgery and autonomous cars among others. The technology will help in real-time monitoring of disasters, precision agriculture, minimising the role of humans in dangerous industrial operations such as in deep mines, offshore activities etc. Unlike existing mobile communication networks, 5G networks will allow tailoring of requirements for each of these different use cases within the same network.

Elon Musk Says Tesla's Cybertruck Will Be Waterproof Enough To Serve Briefly As A Boat

The Tesla Cybertruck is not yet in existence, but when it does come, Elon Musk has said that the futuristic-looking van will have the ability to “briefly” act as a boat if the need arises. 

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the Tesla chief said that the Cybertruck will be waterproof and will be able to cross rivers, lakes and seas that aren’t too choppy. Mr Musk even explained the reasoning behind the waterproof functionality, saying that the Cybertruck will need to be able to get from Starbase – a SpaceX facility located at Boca Chica, Texas – to South Padre Island, which requires crossing the channel. 

Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019. It previously aimed to begin production late this year, however, it has pushed back the plan to the first quarter of 2023.

The futuristic-looking truck is made of stainless steel used in rockets and the electric vehicle has a unique, geometric design. The Tesla website claims that the truck offers “better utility than a truck with more performance than a sports car”. 

Earlier this year, Mr Musk announced that the much-anticipated Cybertruck would come with a high-end four-motor variant.

“Initial production will be 4 motor variant, with independent, ultra-fast response torque control of each wheel,” he said in a tweet. The Tesla chief called the vehicle an “insane technology bandwagon” and informed that the Cybertruck would have both front and rear-wheel steer that would not just turn like a tank but would also be able to drive diagonally like a crab.

Meanwhile, Ford Motor and Rivian Automotive have raced ahead of Tesla in launching electric pickups. Rivian has started deliveries of its R1T pickup truck. Ford has also begun shipping its F-150 Lightning electric pickup and it plans to ramp up deliveries sharply in 2023.
