According to the details, 27-year-old Meena (name changed) who lives in Godadara is a native of Madhya Pradesh. Meena works in a jar factory. She lives here with her sister-in-law. Meena is unmarried. After returning home from the factory on last 11th evening, Meena called her lover Gopal and invited her out of the society. Meena has been in a relationship with Gopal for the past 3 months. Meena and Gopal went out on a bike. At eight o’clock in the night, the two men were sitting on the road in front of Raghuveer Market in Devadh, when five youths rushed there. All the five people threatened Premipankhida by swearing.
Then Gopal’s hands and feet were tied with ropes. All five people took them to a nearby banana farm. Where all the five men raped Meena in front of Gopal’s lover by threatening them. After satisfying their desires, the five naradhams robbed the mobile phones of Meena and her lover. After that, all the five accused ran away after threatening ‘kisi ko ya police ko bataya to jaan se mar dalange’. The lover Gopal and the victim left the farm and returned on a bike. Gopal dropped the victim near her house. The victim girl complained about this and the Pune police registered a case of rape against five unknown persons and started an investigation. As the victim filed a statement that all the five youths were speaking Bihari language, the police has focused the investigation in that direction.
The victim first misled the police to hide the lover’s name
The victim of gang-rape went to Limbayat police station to lodge a complaint the next day. Here he gave wrong information to the police. It was said that five youths were dragged from Kalpana Society, Siddhi Vinayak Temple instead of Devadh and taken to a deserted place in a car and there all the five men committed rape. However, when the police checked the CCTV footage of the place mentioned by the victim, it was revealed that no such incident took place. The victim had misled the police so that the lover’s name would not come out. Finally, in the cross-examination, the victim told the police that five youths had raped her lover at Devadh and the entire matter reached the Pune police.
There is no CC camera at the scene, the problem of the police increased
Following the incident of gang-rape, the police started running. While investigating the spot, the police did not find any link as there is no CCTV camera here. So the trouble of the police has increased.
There is no trace of Premi Gopal who witnessed the incident
The police sought information from the victim about the main witness of the incident, Premi Gopal. However, the victim said that she does not remember Gopal’s mobile number and also does not have his address, the police have gone into a loophole. On the other hand, there is no trace of lover Gopal after the incident. If the lover is missing, there are many suspicions.
