The policeman’s widow had complained to the ACB team. Her husband died in line of duty 10 years ago. The amount of family pension of these widows who were living on husband’s pension was increased. During the period of seven to 10 years of pension there is a regular increase which the pension officer has to pay. The additional amount came to Rs 2.60 lakh. This corrupt accountant Vivek Kevadia demanded a bribe of 60 thousand from the widow of the policeman who went to demand this amount.
A widow has filed a complaint against this corrupt accountant who demanded a huge amount of money as a bribe despite having been employed for barely four and a half years. As soon as the office filed a complaint, under the super vision of Deputy Director Nirav Singh Gohil, Inspector A.K. Chauhan and his team set the trap on Tuesday afternoon in the treasury office itself on the ground floor of Zilla Seva Sadan-2, B Wing. As soon as he accepted the bribe of 60 thousand, the CB caught Vivek Kevadia.
