- Bus service to start in new busport in two months: DC
- After 5 years, the inconvenience of the temporary station will be freed
At Amreli, ST has completed the maximum operation of busport with airport like facilities and now preparations have been started to launch it by ST in the coming days and will get rid of the problems of existing temporary bus station.
The operation of a state-of-the-art busport with airport-like facilities by ST in Amreli was flagged off by the then Transport Minister in 2017. Due to the Corona period, the work of this project took a long time and even after the passage of five years, this busport has not started. At present the maximum work of this busport has been completed and only the stylization of the shops built on the public road side at the back is left. Most of the work in the area where the buses are to be parked has been completed so preparations have been started by ST to launch it. As soon as the new busport is started, the passengers will get relief from many kinds of difficulties currently faced in the temporary bus station. Contacting Amreli Divisional Director Jadeja on this issue, he said that the date for the launch has not been decided yet, but it will be launched within these two months.
Workshop at temporary bus station site
At present, as there is no workshop at the temporary bus station in Amreli, the buses arrive at the division office on Lathi Road and waste a lot of diesel to get there. After the construction of the new busport, a workshop will be constructed at the site of the existing temporary bus station.
Launch before announcement of elections
In Amreli for five years, ST has been showing people dreams of a busport with airport-like facilities, but the existing temporary bus station lacks even basic amenities. If the code of conduct is launched before the election, the passengers can get rid of the problem.
