Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting held at Rajkot Collector Office

The Rajkot District Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting was held today at the Collector’s office under the chairmanship of MP Mohanbhai Kundaria and District Collector Arun Mahesh Babu. In which the works under various schemes of the Central and State Government in Rajkot district were reviewed.

In this meeting, the officers of various departments presented the details of the work being done by their department. Accordingly, Rajkot district ranks third in the entire state in the National Rural Employment Mission. 153 toilets have been constructed in the district under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. A total of 21,347 objection applications have been received for land re-survey in the district. Out of which more than 17,700 applications have been disposed of. In the rest of the applications, objection disposal is in progress. 85 rooms have been sanctioned under the entire Shiksha Abhiyan in the district, of which 71 rooms have already been completed, and the remaining rooms will be completed very soon. A proposal of 320 new rooms in the district has also been approved by the state government.

Under Swamitva Yojana, drone land survey work is going on in 74 villages under the pilot project in the district. In which measurement has been done in 63 villages. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas-Shehri Yojana, 5140 housing units are currently in progress in Rajkot metropolis. The work of 1144 flats of Light House is nearing completion and soon this gold will also be launched. BSNL in five areas of the district. Five towers will be installed. In this meeting, the work of the previous meeting was ratified.

The MP expressed satisfaction with the good work done in Amrit Yojana and other schemes in the district. In this meeting, District Development Officer Dev Chaudhary, Director of District Village Development Agency R. S. Thummar, Resident Additional Collector Ketan Thakkar, District Planning Officer Nitin Toprani, officials of various departments were present.
