Dengue cases are increasing in Rajkot, 9 cases in a week

Mosquito-borne epidemics have increased in Rajkot city. Especially dengue cases are increasing continuously. After 8 cases of dengue came to light last week, 9 cases of dengue have been declared this week. These figures have been announced by the municipality. Whereas, the figures of private hospitals are found to be several times higher than this through laboratory sources.

A fogging campaign has been undertaken by the municipality in view of increasing mosquito-borne epidemics. Apart from dengue, cases of malaria and chikungunya are also increasing in Rajkot.
