Mohammad Rizwan equals Babar Azam's world record, beats Kohli-Rahul

Pakistan wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan has crossed the mark of 2000 runs in T20 Internationals. He equaled Babar Azam’s record for fastest to 2000 runs in T20 Internationals.

Equaled Babar Azam’s world record

Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan played a brilliant innings of 68 off 46 balls in the first T20 International match against England on Tuesday. During this innings, Rizwan equaled Babar Azam’s world record in T20 Internationals and also surpassed Virat Kohli and KL Rahul in special cases. During this innings, Rizwan completed 2000 runs in T20 Internationals and that too in just the 52nd innings.

Fastest 2000 runs in T20 Internationals

Babar has also touched the mark of 2000 T20 International runs in the same innings. On the other hand, Virat Kohli scored 56 while KL Rahul scored 2000 T20 international runs in 58 innings. At the same time, Australia captain Aaron Finch is fifth in this regard, having achieved the feat in 62 innings. As for the match, Rizwan and Babar combined to give Pakistan a good start and both put on 85 runs for the first wicket, but after that the Pakistani batsmen did not play well.
