Ravi Shastri’s international cricket career spanned nearly 11 years. He made his Test debut against New Zealand in Wellington in February 1981. In November 1981, he played his ODI debut against England in Ahmedabad. Shastri played his last Test match in the year 1992. Shastri scored 3,830 runs in Tests with 11 centuries and 12 half-centuries and also took 151 wickets. In ODIs, he scored 4 centuries and 18 fifties and scored a total of 3,108 runs. He also took 129 wickets in the ODI format.
