The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced Team India for the T20 series against South Africa and Australia ahead of the T20 World Cup. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been rested and replaced by Deepak Hooda in the South Africa series. Standby player Mohammad Shami has come back to India in the World Cup. That means, based on his performance in these two series, his chances of entry into the Indian team during the World Cup will be determined.
Indian team for Australia T20 series
Rohit Sharma (captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yujvendra Chahal, Akshar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah.
The match will be held in Mohali-Nagpur-Hyderabad
Team India will play three T20 matches against Australia from September 20 to 25. The first match will be played on September 20 in Mohali, the second in Nagpur on September 23 and the third in Hyderabad on September 25.

Team India will play three T20 matches against South Africa from September 28 to October 11. The first match will be played in Thiruvananthapuram on September 28, the second in Guwahati on October 2 and the third in Indore on October 4.
