Sonu plays Vijay Raghavendra’s wife. “She is not a regular housewife. She has seen life beyond just household duties. After the Wedding Gift, I will once again play a role with a negative shade. The movie also has an element of surprise,” she says. She says co-star that Vijay is always cool, calm, and composed. “I have never seen him lose his temper. We have been good friends for a long time, and that makes working together more comfortable,” she adds.
Vijay adds that though he has starred in many films as a cop, Marichi’s interesting, entertaining elements made him accept it. According to director Siddhruv, Marichi is the father of good and bad. “This name is apt for the movie’s subject, as it talks about an infamous murder case. Vijay Raghavendra, an investigative officer, nabs the culprits. This forms the crux of the story. But the narration makes this movie special. Though Vijay has done many police roles, his unique character in this movie is bound to receive a lot of love,” he says.
The film’s cast includes Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Sruthi Patil, Aryan, and Spandana.
