A 23-year-old girl who went for a walk at night on the service road of Vadodara-Halol Express Highway was accosted by three youths last night. Taking advantage of the loneliness, three young men dragged the girl near Jarod Government Hospital. After robbing the phone, the knife-wielder raped the girl. Police have detained four youths from Surat in this crime.
A 23-year-old girl from Jarod went out for a walk as per her routine at 9 o’clock last night. The girl was talking on the phone with her boyfriend while walking on the service road. Meanwhile, a young man named Sanjay came later near the wall of the government hospital. At 10 o’clock, Pravin aka Chiku came from the front with a bike, the girl fell due to an accident. The three youths fought with the young man who came to help the girl and then threw the knife and left the bike and escaped by jumping over the wall of the hospital. Jarad police registered a case under IPC 376, 192, 394, 354D, 120 B, 506(2), 11 late at night. In this crime, the police have detained a total of four people from Surat this morning.

Pravin alias Chiku Arjun Solanki (Rajput) (Age 25, native of Chalali, Kalol, Panchmahal) to Sanjay Bhanu Chudasama (Devipujak) (age 23, native of Rupavati Village, Mahuwa, Bhavnagar, Hal, Surat) in the main rape case.
