Gandhinagar: Harsh Sanghvi comes from a happy and wealthy family in Surat. Harsh Sanghvi began his political career as the General Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha in the year 2010-11. After that, he has worked as a youth MLA from Gujarat and also as General Secretary and Vice President of Rashtiya Bharatiya Janata Party. Today is the 38th birthday of Surat Majura Legislative Assembly MLA Harsh Sanghvi, who served as youth minister in the Bhupendra Patel government.

He has been running his father’s company since he was in 10th standard

At the age of just 15, Harsh Sanghavi took over his father’s company. While studying in class 10, father Rameshbhai Sanghvi was in the hospital for the treatment of his mother and left his studies to take over the family’s diamond company, Girnar Corporation.

Harsh Sanghvi has four sisters and one brother

Harsh Sanghvi has four sisters and one brother in his family. He himself is a 10th standard fail. But both his elder sisters have done higher studies. Hailing from a wealthy family in Surat, Harsh demonstrated his political talent by acting as media convener of the Sanghavi Gauv Ganga Yatra programme.

Harsh Sanghvi is the youngest MLA of Gujarat

In the year 2006, he also worked during the India Security Yatra. In the year 2012, Harsh Sanghvi won the elections from Manjura Assembly as the youngest MLA of Gujarat. The then Chief Minister and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave Harsh Sanghvi the Assembly ticket.

Harsh Sanghvi is the youth home minister of Gujarat. As soon as he became the Home Minister, he has started the study to make Gujarat drug free. Harsh Sanghvi says that once he too was addicted to cigarettes. But at the request of Narendra Modi, he gave up the addiction to cigarettes.
