Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacks the opposition for “spreading lies” on the Rafale deal amid the Adani row. Without naming Congress or Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi said that those who levelled false allegations against our government regarding HAL have been exposed today. Modi was speaking at the inauguration of HAL’s helicopter factory in Karnataka. Remember, in the run-up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress accused Modi of corruption in the Rafale deal and questioned his decision not to award the Rafale contract to state-owned HAL.
