Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and wife Dr Priscilla Chan are now parents to three daughters. Taking to Instagram, the Facebook co-founder announced the birth of their newborn daughter and shared a picture with the ‘little blessing’ Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg.

“Welcome to the world, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg! You’re such a little blessing,” he wrote in the caption. The post captures Zuckerberg smiling at his baby girl, while the second picture shows Chan caressing Aurelia. Since being shared, the post has garnered over 10 lakh likes with congratulatory messages pouring in from netizens on the comments section.

Their two other daughters are August, aged 5, and seven-year-old Maxima “Max”. The 38-year-old CEO had first announced Chan’s pregnancy in September 2022 announcing that Max and August will be big sisters soon. For New Year’s, Zuckerberg shared another snap from his wife’s pregnancy journey with a picture of him cradling her baby bump and a toast to the all the upcoming ‘adventures and love’ .

Chan and Zuckerberg are college sweethearts, who began dating in 2003 after they met at a queue for the washroom at a party of the former’s Harvard University fraternity. They met when he was a sophomore and she was a freshman. The couple recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by recreating a scene from their wedding day on May 19, 2012. “10 years married and half our lives together,” Zuckerberg captioned the picture.

A paediatrician and philanthropist, Chan pursued her medical education at the University of California after completing her degree from Harvard University.

Zuckerberg and Chan are also co-founders of their nonprofit Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, which mainly works in science, education, justice, and opportunity, promoting housing affordability, criminal justice reform, and immigration reform.
