We all have heard the phrase “lightning never strikes the same place twice,” but this viral video shows otherwise. Just like this clip shared by the Twitter page OddIy Terrifying that claims to show lightning striking twice at the same spot and causing a fire.
“Watch as lightning strikes again and again in the same spot,” wrote OddIy Terrifying on the micro-blogging platform. The clip begins to show a person recording the scene from a balcony. Then suddenly, a jolt of lightning strikes the ground twice. In a matter of a few seconds, something on the ground catches fire because of the lightning. Two women in the video can even be heard saying, “Something’s on fire.”
