Ulhasnagar Police clear RTI activist of firearm allegations, accuse builder of framing him
Ulhasnagar businessman and RTI activist, Moti Duseja, has been absolved of any involvement in the revolver and cartridges recovery case from his plywood shop. The charge sheet filed in court confirms Duseja’s non-involvement and alleges that he was framed by five individuals, including developer Ajit Bhatia, who planted the revolver in his shop. Duseja’s previous RTI revelations exposing illegal land acquisitions by land mafias led to the booking of five individuals, including builders, in 2017. The recent investigation also points to possible involvement of police officials in fabricating false charges against Duseja.
