Salman Khan: 'I don't party much, I don't believe in gossip, bitching or keeping track of others' - Exclusive | Hindi Movie News

Salman Khan who is currently enjoying the success of his latest release ‘Tiger 3‘ is elated with the film’s success. But that’s because he’s happy that the audience has liked the film. The actor confessed that he makes films, keeping himself in the shoes of the audiences. However, people feel that Salman doesn’t need to work on a character. He breaks that myth about himself when we recently chatted with him.
He said, “The hard work is done on the character and on the script is done at my home with the director. On the set, people think, ‘yeh aata hai, coffee peeta hai, idhar udhar dekhta hai, shot deta hai, chala jaata hai. (People think that I just come on the set, drink coffee, looks around, chills, give my shot and go) but all the hard work is done earlier at home before I land up on the set.” He also believes that he’s done his share of hard work and struggle before he made his debut. The 4-5 years before ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ happened was a period of struggle and lots of hard work for him. However, even now, most of Salman’s conversations are about his work.
He says, “On the set, people think, ‘yeh aata hai, coffee peeta hai, idhar udhar dekhta hai, shot deta hai, chala jaata hai,’ but all the hard work is done earlier at home before I land up on the set. I don’t believe in going out, gossiping, bitching about people, tracking numbers of other people, following other people’s career ke ‘iska kya ho raha hai’. I just concentrate on what I’m working on, at the moment. So, those people who come home are also people who have worked with me, who are currently working with me or who I’ll be working with, next. Of course, I have a set of 4-5 friends who’ve been there with me since time unknown and that’s my life!”
After the success of ‘Tiger 3’, Salman is set to begin his next, which is directed by Vishnu Vardhan. The film titled ‘The Bull‘ is directed by Karan Johar.
