Mumbai: The Crime branch probing illegal migrants from Bangladesh residing India with forged documentson Friday arrested a man and woman from near Wadala railway station, for allegedly helping Bangladeshi nationals to illegally migrate to India.
The unit 6 of the crime branch arrested accused Lima Shajan Aldar, 26, and Akram Noor Aliuddin, 26, who were part of the gang that used to make fake Aadhar cards and other documents for Bangladeshi nationals willing to illegally migrate to India and would also provide them shelters in Mumbai.Both are residents of Dhaka. Based on an information that few touts were illegally charging Rs 20,000 from each Bangladeshi national and were availing them fake Indian documents, the police laid a trap near Wadala railway station and arrested them. The cops recovered Aadhar cards and rent agreements according to which they were staying at Barkat Ali Dargah in Wadala.
