Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Mian Chhote Mian in its first weekend globally collected Rs. 96 crores 18 lakhs have been collected. The film earned 9.05 crore rupees across the country on the fourth day i.e. Sunday. With this, he has done a business of 40 crore 80 lakh rupees in 4 days at the Indian box office. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film will enter the 100 crore club on day 5.
The film, which released in theaters on April 11, also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F in addition to Akshay and Tiger.
Could not earn in South
Even though BMCM grossed Rs 40.37 crore in Hindi at the Indian box office, the film fared poorly in the South. In 4 days, its Tamil version earned Rs 23 lakh, Telugu version Rs 18 lakh and Malayalam and Kannada versions Rs 1 lakh.
The film ‘Meydan’ earned Rs 6.52 crore on Sunday
On Sunday, Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Meydan’ collected 6 crore 52 lakh rupees at the Indian box office. Along with this, the first weekend Indian BO collection of this film has reached 22 crore 22 lakh rupees. This film has done a business of 31 crore 86 lakh rupees in 4 days worldwide.
Kolkata has the highest occupancy
The film’s overall Hindi business on Sunday was 22.87%. It got the highest occupancy of 40% out of 200 shows in Kolkata. At the same time, Delhi has the highest number of 758 shows. Here the occupancy of the film remained only 20%.
On Saturday, the film earned double the earnings of Friday
Earlier, the film had collected only 2 crore 80 lakh rupees at the Indian box office on Friday. And on Saturday he earned 5 crore 65 lakh rupees. If seen accordingly, the collection of ‘Meydan’ jumped 100% on Saturday.
