Sagar now wants to win a medal in the Olympics after participating in the World Championship.
Bronze in Under 15 Asian Wrestling Championship
Under 15 Asian Wrestling Competition was organized in Thailand. Sagar was selected for this. Sagar says that I have won the bronze medal by defeating Turkistan. I won the gold medal by participating in the national competition for the first time and then I participated in the Asian Wrestling Competition for the first time. After this I have won this medal. I give the credit of this success to my father who fulfilled all my wishes. Along with delivering gas cylinders, he supported me completely in wrestling. Now my goal is to win a medal in the World Championship and then in the Olympics.

Shri Ram Vyayamshala’s trainer Kalyan Vishnoi said that Sagar Vishnoi has been wrestling for 7 years. He practices wrestling for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening every day. Sagar has won this medal in the 62 kg freestyle category in this competition held in Thailand. Sagar’s father has the biggest hand in Sagar’s success. He supported Sagar at every step and always motivated him.

Sagar’s father Chandmal Vishnoi, who lives in Pur, a suburb of Bhilwara city, has been delivering gas cylinders door to door for the last 10 years. He too was a wrestler in his old days.
