Republic Day 2020: Today, Republic Day is being celebrated all over the country. President Ram Nath Kovind hoisted the tricolor on Rajpath and took the salute of the parade. The parade witnessed a grand display of the country’s growing military power, valuable cultural heritage and socio-economic progress. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was the chief guest at the 90-minute ceremony organized on the anniversary of India’s establishment as a republic.
