Everyone will remember the story of crow biryani from the movie ‘Run’. Everyone’s stomach starts to ache after watching this comedy scene of actor Vijay Raj. But if such an incident happens to someone in reality, it is difficult to imagine what his condition would be. But in Bangalore
A similar incident has come to light. But here the administration is shocked by the news of serving dog meat in the name of mutton and not crow biryani.
On Friday evening, there was chaos at Bengaluru Railway Station (KSR Railway Station) when Hindu organizations created a ruckus alleging that dog meat is being served here in the name of mutton. These people alleged that a meat seller is supplying dog meat in the name of mutton. It was also alleged that boxes of dog meat are supplied from Jaipur to Bengaluru and this meat is brought by Jaipur-Mysore Express train. Not only this, dog meat is supplied to hotels and restaurants in Bengaluru. However, the meat seller has claimed that there is mutton in the boxes. He says that he has been involved in this business for the last 12 years.
After the commotion increased at the station, the local administration reached the spot. The Commissioner of Food Safety and Standards Department ordered a detailed investigation into the matter. Also, samples of meat have been taken and sent for testing.
The Commissioner of Food Safety Department said that during the investigation it was seen that the parcels that came by train from Rajasthan were being loaded into the truck outside the station. There were 90 parcels and animal meat was found in these parcels. Now the samples have been sent to the laboratory to find out which animal’s meat it is. The Commissioner said that if the meat is found to be of any other animal instead of goat, then strict legal action will be taken.
On the other hand, serving dog meat instead of mutton has created panic among Bengaluru residents and meat lovers. Former Infosys CFO Mohandas Pai wrote in an Xpost, ‘This is a shocking incident. When will the government take action?’
