India is close to winning a medal in men’s singles badminton for the first time in Paris Olympics. Lakshya Sen secured a place in the semi-finals by winning 19-21, 21-15 and 21-12 after losing the first game against Chinese Taipei player Chou Tien Chen on Friday evening. Now he is just two steps away from writing his name in the pages of history by winning a medal. He will have a chance to win the first gold for India in this Paris Olympics.
