IAS Subodh Singh, who returned to Chhattisgarh from Central Deputation, has been made Principal Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The state government has issued an order in this regard. Singh was working in Delhi on deputation for the last 5 years. their return from the state government

Subodh Singh was currently working as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Steel Ministry in Delhi. He had reached Raipur yesterday evening itself and met the Chief Secretary and gave his joining. The Central Government’s DoPT i.e. Department of Personnel and Training had issued an order on December 17 regarding the return of Subodh Singh to Chhattisgarh.
Raman government also plays a big role in bureaucracy
Subodh Kumar Singh is a 1997 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service and has worked as a collector in many districts of Chhattisgarh including Raipur in his career. During the third term of Dr. Raman Singh, he played important responsibilities as Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
During the time of Raman government, Subodh Singh was counted among his close officers. While living in Chhattisgarh, his image remained as an undisputed officer.
