The last National Lok Adalat of the year 2024 was organized in the District Court Raipur on Saturday. A total of 4,58,085 cases were resolved in the National Lok Adalat. At the same time, arrangements for langar were also made for the people coming to the National Lok Adalat.

536 workers got justice in National Lok Adalat
The applicant and 535 other workers were working in Chhattisgarh Jute Industry Raipur for many years. Those who were fired from their jobs by the management by temporarily stopping work in the industry. There was a dispute between the workers and the management due to loss of employment.
The Deputy Labor Commissioner has found that the temporary strike conducted by Chhattisgarh June Industries without taking prior permission from the government as per the rules is legal, proper and workers Ram Singh and other 535 workers are eligible for assistance. In this matter, the case was sent to Labor Court Raipur under Section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act 1947 for decision.

The case was presented for resolution on the basis of agreement in the Labor Court of Presiding Officer Vibha Pandey. 10 authorized representatives on behalf of applicant Ram Singh and 535 workers entered into an agreement with the management. On Saturday, District Judge and Presiding Officer Vibha Pandey gave a check of Rs 24 lakh 43 thousand 693 to 46 workers. The remaining payment will also be completed within the remaining 120 days.
Husband and wife united on the advice of the court
The applicant had filed a maintenance case against her husband on the grounds that the applicant had demanded dowry and thrown her out of the house after fighting and fighting with her. That’s why she lives in her parents’ house. The applicant earns Rs 50 thousand by running a daily needs shop in Raipur. Therefore he asked for Rs 20 thousand per month for his maintenance.
The non-applicant husband said that he neither demanded dowry nor assaulted her. He wants to keep his wife. Criminal revision was presented by the applicant in Bilaspur High Court. Where an attempt at resignation was made. The Family Court gave advice to both the parties. After which they agreed to live their married life together.
