The last National Lok Adalat of this year was held as per the pre-determined schedule on Saturday on the instructions of the National Legal Services Authority at the Katihar Civil Court. ACJM cum DLSA Secretary Nisha Kumari gave information in this regard.

It was told that regarding the success of the organized National Lok Adalat, as per the instructions of District Legal Services Authority Chairman cum Principal District Judge Hemant Kumar Tripathi, a total of 14 benches including Sub Division Barsoi, Rail were made. The National Lok Adalat organized was successful in achieving its goal. In which 1971 cases were successfully executed.
Rashtriya Lok Adalat was inaugurated by Principal District and Sessions Judge Hemant Kumar Tripathi, Additional Collector Suman Kumar Sah, SDPO Sadar Abhijeet Kumar, Advocates Association President Vijay Kumar Jha, Secretary Ramesh Jaishwal by jointly lighting the lamp.

Met people to settle disputes
On occasion, Principal District Judge cum Chairman Hemant Kumar Tripathi and Secretary Nisha Kumari roamed around all the benches and met the people who had come to the National Lok Adalat for settlement of their cases. Their problems were heard. Gave instructions for its immediate disposal.
In the organized Rashtriya Lok Adalat, 1029 cases of pre-litigation, 511 cases of railways and other criminal cases and 431 cases of electricity etc. were disposed of. The total settlement of the bank was Rs 7 crore 79 lakh 83 thousand 310.
The Principal District Judge thanked all the judicial officers, advocates along with the district administration and NGO Apna Parivar for its success.
