Famous comedian Kapil Sharma has been entered in the kidnap case of comedian Sunil Pal. Kapil Sharma spoke to Meerut CO Cantt Prakash Chand Aggarwal on phone. He talked about arresting the accused and taking action, saying – such incidents happen with film artists.

Actually, on Wednesday, Sunil Pal’s wife Sarita had reached Lal Kurti police station in Meerut along with 3 lawyers. While she was talking to the CO in the police station, Kapil’s call came on her mobile. Kapil had talked about talking to the police. On this Sarita got the CO to talk to her.
Meerut Police reached Mumbai on Thursday, where Sunil Pal’s statement was recorded at Santa Cruz police station. Sunil narrated the horrifying story of 22 hours of kidnapping to the police in two hours.

Meerut police called comedian Sunil Pal to Santa Cruz police station. Here police station in-charge Yogendra Kumar recorded Sunil’s statement. Sunil told that throughout his life he kept making people laugh and kept advising them not to panic due to fear. But the day of 2nd December gave him a very scary and unforgettable experience. I have never been as scared as I was that day.
Those 22 hours of my life were very scary. I was thinking of running away from there every moment, sometimes wondering whether I would be able to reach my loved ones safely.
Told – After kidnapping, the accused made me lie on the bed, but he used to sleep on the floor near the bed. Snatched my mobile, asked for the password and obtained my personal information from it. After this the accused started scaring and threatening me. Threatened to kill by injecting poison. Tortured me.
I was so scared, I did whatever the accused asked, I said whatever was called.
Sunil Pal told that Bijnor resident Lavi Pal and former councilor Sarthak alias Ricky formed a fake event company with their 8 associates. Through him I was booked and called to Meerut. Booked me for the event on 2nd December and comedian Mushtaq Khan on 21st November. Mushtaq Khan was kidnapped on reaching Meerut.
Then in a similar manner, I was called and kidnapped from Meerut on the pretext of organizing a program in Haridwar. Both of us were kidnapped and kept in Bijnor. He told the police point to point the story from Delhi to Meerut, from being kidnapped till his release.

During police investigation, the criminals who kidnapped comedian Sunil Pal were found to be residents of Bijnor. The main accused were identified as Lavi Pal and Arjun Karnwal, residents of Bijnor. Meerut Police identified the accused by scanning more than 100 CCTV cameras of the city.
After this, Bijnor police arrested Azim and Sainuddin in custody. The accused told that after the kidnapping, Mushtaq and Sunil Pal were made to sit in his Scorpio by Lavi Pal. He had brought it to Bijnor.
During his interrogation, it has come to light that Sunil Pal was also kept at the Swayamvar Banquet Hall located on Najibabad Road in Bijnor city at night. Meerut and Bijnor police have detained 25 people in this case.
The police had arrested Arjun, the main member of Lavi Pal, on Wednesday night. But he is not able to give complete information to the police. He told the police that Lavi Pal was in Mumbai for more than 2 months. He developed relationships with many artists there.
After this Lavi committed the crime by kidnapping the artists. He took another name of Ankit during interrogation. Told that Ankit is Lavi’s friend. This is also involved in the incident. Police are also investigating Lavi Pal’s connection with Mumbai actors.

Lavi Pal is planning to surrender
There are 9 people in Lavi and Arjun’s gang. Lavi Pal is being said to be the master mind of the gang. Lavi works to give money on interest. He has also contested the councilor election. In 2016, he was jailed in a theft case. Kidnapping mastermind Lavi Pal is planning to surrender along with some lawyers of Meerut.
The police is busy searching for him. His henchman Arjun is not able to give much information to the police about the entire incident.

According to comedian Sunil Pal, he was invited to an event in Haridwar on the night of 2 December. Sunil Pal reached Delhi from Mumbai by flight. Sunil Pal was kidnapped between Delhi and Meerut. Kidnappers brought Sunil Pal to Meerut. He was blindfolded and kept in Meerut.
A ransom of Rs 8 lakh was demanded by calling friends. The entire ransom amount was collected online. After this, the miscreants bought jewelery worth Rs 4 lakh from Akash Ganga Jewelers in Begumpul and jewelery worth Rs 2.25 lakh from Akshit Singhal’s shop in Jawahar Quarter. Bills were made in the name of Sunil Pal at both the places. A copy of Sunil Pal’s Aadhar card and PAN card was also given.
On December 3, the miscreants asked for Rs 8 lakh ransom online. After getting the money, the miscreants gave me Rs 20,000 for a flight ticket. After this they left me in Lalkurti police station area.
According to Sunil Pal, 16 days ago a young man named Anil called and introduced himself as the director of the event company. He asked Sunil to come to an event in Haridwar. For this, some amount was also transferred to Sunil Pal.
When Sunil reached Delhi on 2nd December, the event company sent a car to take him to Haridwar. As soon as Sunil sat in the car, the accused took him hostage.

Bollywood actor Mushtaq Khan lodged an FIR in his kidnap case on 10 December. It was told in the complaint that actor Mushtaq Khan is a resident of West Mumbai. Mushtaq Mohammad Khan keeps attending invites, award shows etc. On 15 October 2024, a young man named Rahul Saini from Meerut called him.

Rahul Saini booked his flight ticket. Air India flight was booked from Mumbai to Delhi on 20th November at 15:45 pm. After this Mushtaq reached Delhi Airport on 20 November. From here left for Meerut by cab. On the way, miscreants kidnapped him and took him to a house.
There were 7 people there along with the driver. The miscreants started torturing. Threatened to kill. The miscreants asked the password from Mushtaq’s wife and son and withdrew Rs 2 lakh from two accounts through net banking. After this the miscreants started having a liquor party. Due to the drunkenness of the miscreants, Mushtaq took the opportunity and ran away from there in the morning, leaving behind his belongings.
