Former Deputy Mayor of Patna Municipal Corporation, Santosh Mehta told that he had left his house a few seconds ago on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, a pickup vehicle coming at high speed from the flyover overturned as soon as it reached Kushwaha Market. The former Deputy Mayor has alleged that the driver of the pickup vehicle was in an intoxicated state and due to this the vehicle went out of control and overturned on the roadside.
At the same time, he has also told that earlier there used to be a speed breaker near the flyover. This helped in curbing the speeding vehicle. He has demanded from the government that speed breaker is necessary while descending from the flyover.
