Cosmetic changes have been made to differentiate the Toyota Urban Cruiser from the e-Vitara.
EV is built on Heartect-E platform Toyota Urban Cruiser is built on the Heartect-E platform, which the company has developed in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki. This new car is a rebadged version of the EVX, the production version of which was introduced as e-Vitara for the global market at the EICMA-2024 motor show held in Milan, Italy.
The production model of the Urban Cruiser EV has made some changes from its concept model. Its length has been reduced by 15mm and width by 20mm, but its height has been increased by 20mm. The length of the wheelbase is only 2,700mm. The special thing is that these dimensions make the Urban Cruiser EV slightly larger than the E Vitara.

Can get a range of 550 kilometers In the European market, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV has been introduced with two battery pack options like the e-Vitara. This includes battery pack options of 49kWh and 61kWh. The company has not yet revealed the certified range of the car, but it is expected that its range on full charge can be up to 550 km, which is 150km more than the E Vitara. The car will also be given the option of 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive.

Exterior: With LED lighting setup The overall body structure of the car is similar to the E-Vitara, but its front profile is completely different from the Maruti E-Vitara. There’s a wide chrome strip that connects both the LED headlamps and the entire setup is encased in a black casing. 12 small round LED DRLs are provided on both sides. There is a thick bumper at the bottom and vertical air vents are provided on both sides.

Viewed from the side, Toyota’s EV looks similar to Maruti eVX, with square wheel arches, wide body cladding on the doors and C-pillar mounted rear door handles. It has 19-inch alloy wheels like the e-Vitara, but the design is different.

The rear profile looks completely like the eVX. It has a large bumper, roof integrated spoiler and an end-to-end connected tail lamp setup with a reflecting element in the middle. Like the DRLs, the tail lamps also have round lighting elements, which make it different from the e-Vitara.

Interior and Features: 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system The cabin of the Urban Cruiser EV is exactly like the e-Vitra. Its color cabin theme has been kept separate, which is completely black. The rest of the cabin gets a layered dashboard, semi-leatherette upholstery, squarish AC vents, brushed aluminum and gloss black elements.
It gets a gloss black touch around the 2-spoke flat bottom steering wheel and vertically oriented AC vents. The major highlight of its cabin is the integrated floating screen setup, in which one is infotainment and the other is driver display.
The feature list includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.1-inch digital driver display, fixed glassroof, JBL sound system and powered driver seats. It will also have a wireless phone charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and automatic climate control.
