Niyad Nella Naar Scheme has given the surrendered Naxalites an opportunity to return to the mainstream of society and live a respectable life.
Among the newly married couple, Gaganpalli resident Mausam Mahesh and Dubbamarka resident Hemla Munni held each other’s hands. As the second couple, Kanhaipad resident Madkam Pandu and Sallatong resident Ravva Bhime also tied the knot. Under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana, an amount of Rs 50 thousand, makeup material worth Rs 7 thousand and Rs 35 thousand for arranging the marriage of Rs 8 thousand are given in their account through DBT.

Bhoomi pujan was performed for the construction of Keralapal to Pongabhejji road with an amount of Rs 14 crore. Bhoomi pujan of the sports complex was done at a cost of Rs 11 crore.

Work worth Rs 160 crore in Dantewada The Chief Minister has inaugurated and performed the bhoomi pujan of 501 works worth Rs 160 crore at Kirandul, Bade Bacheli in Dantewada district. These include inauguration of 367 works worth Rs 49 crore and bhoomi pujan of 134 works worth Rs 112 crore. Checks and distribution of materials for beneficiary oriented works worth Rs 114 crore were also done. This includes a bridge worth Rs 33 crore on Chhindnar to Badekarka road of Geedam block, bridges and culverts built worth Rs 1 crore in all development blocks, widening and strengthening of Geedam, Kuakonda, Katekalyan road.

Apart from this, the keys of permanent houses built for 321 beneficiaries at a cost of Rs 7.25 crore under Mor Makaan-Mor Awas have also been handed over. About Rs 45 crore has been spent for setting up water conservation and water purification plant in Kirandul and Rs 15 crore in Barsur, inter-state bus stand in Dantewada and bhoomi pujan of ashram building construction works in all the development blocks of Dantewada district.
