Three people have been arrested by the police. The accused are residents of Noor Mahal town of Jalandhar. The entire incident was captured in CCTV. Police of Police Station Division No. 7 is busy investigating the case.

While giving information to the police, Vipan Chander said that a person at Diyas School Tajpur Road told them that he had gone to the ATM to withdraw money but the money was not withdrawn from the ATM. After this, when he went inside the ATM and checked, an iron plate was placed at the place where the money comes out of the ATM machine. When the customer removed that husband, his Rs 1,000 came out.
When the CCTV footage of the ATM was checked, it was found that two persons were caught pasting letters on the ATM machine. After this incident, people of the area also became alert.

The accused have been identified as Ram Chand, Sanju and Mamta resident of Noor Mahal district Jalandhar. The accused will be presented in the court and their remand will be obtained so that other incidents can also be revealed.
