Went missing suddenly and returned home after 26 days
Let us tell you that before this Gurucharan Singh came into limelight when the news of his disappearance came. On 22 April 2024, he left for Mumbai from his Delhi home. His friend had come to pick him up at Mumbai airport, but he never reached there. His number was also switched off, while there was no news from him.
Gurucharan’s father Hargeet Singh had filed his missing complaint. Delhi Police had registered a case of kidnapping and started investigation.
After about 3 weeks, Gurucharan himself returned home. Gurucharan had told Delhi Police during interrogation that he had set out on a spiritual journey. In 3 weeks he visited Gurudwaras in many cities including Amritsar, Ludhiana. Later, out of concern for his family, he returned home.
Gurucharan is in debt, has been looking for work for a long time
After returning home, Gurucharan had told in an interview that he had a lot of debt, to repay which he needed to work. In this regard, he had also talked to Asit Modi, the producer of the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, however, he could not return to the show.
On loan, Gurucharan had said, ‘I have come to Mumbai and want to do a lot of work. I am currently immersed in many loans and debts. All this will be possible only through work and I am ready to work hard. I want to get married and settle down soon. As soon as I get married, I will shift my parents from Delhi to Mumbai so that I can take care of them. Many things influenced me during the Corona epidemic. I left Mumbai and went back to Delhi in 2020 because Papa had surgery. After that I started many businesses but they did not work either the work in the business was not done properly or the people with whom I had partnered disappeared. I also have a property issue going on for years in which a lot of money has been spent, hence due to all this my financial condition has become very bad.
