CM Omar Abdullah accuses Pakistan of violating cease fire agreement within hours

As per reports, heavy shelling and firing were reported in the areas of Akhnoor, Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu sectors. Drone activities have also been reported.

The district administration of Barmer in Rajasthan imposed a around 8.40 pm.

Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi said that drones were spotted in the Kutch district in the state.”A complete blackout will be implemented now,” the Minister said at 9.34 pm on May 10.

The Amritsar District Commissioner said, “Since there are reports of ceasefire violations, we will remain on alert today. We will observe blackouts if and when needed. I advise all to kindly be prepared for enforcement of blackout if the need arises and be at home/indoors. Please do not indulge in bursting fire crackers. We have done this drill several times, so please don’t panic. This is by way of abundant caution.”

Nearly three days after the tension escalated between India and Pakistan, on Saturday, May 10 India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire. While addressing the media, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri informed that the decision was taken after Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations contacted his Indian counterpart after 3 pm on Saturday evening.
